Ingredients:
- 500g oats
- 5 bananas
- 10 dates
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- A piece of dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- First, blend the chocolate and dates.
- Add the oats and bananas.
- Place the mixture in a bowl and knead the ingredients well.
- Shape the dough into cookies.
- Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Once arranged on the tray, sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Bake for 20 minutes (top and bottom heat). If you’re using an air fryer, the time may be shorter, so keep an eye on them, as baking time can vary depending on the size and thickness of the cookies and individual oven settings.
Note: These cookies are ideal for transitioning away from hidden added sugars. They’re also a great option to have before exercising, as they provide slow-release carbs, potassium, and magnesium. Children might find them less sweet, but it’s important for them to get used to the natural flavors of foods. Taste is something that can be learned.
